Precipitation – Precipitation includes snow, rain, and any other water falling from the atmosphere.

Ground water – Ground water is stored in aquifers and retrieved by wells.

Surface water – Surface water flows in rivers and streams and is stored in lakes, oceans, and reservoirs.
